Who We Are
The Catholic Art Institute is a USCCB approved, 501c3 non-profit organization working to evangelize the culture through truth, beauty, and goodness, re-establish excellence in the Catholic arts and provide much needed community and resources to artists, clergy and the lay faithful who appreciate and support the arts. It was founded by award winning artists who now serve on the Board of Directors. The Institute's Advisory Board is comprised of the highest achievers in the realm of architecture, art, sacred music and creative writing.
Our programming includes conference, retreats, art exhibitions and workshops. We provide preeminent education, resources, and inspiration to all those interested in the elevation of the Catholic arts.
Our annual conference is our largest and best-attended event where members of the Institute, clergy, artists, craftsmen, architects ,facilities managers, and students gather and network while taking in presentations by the leading scholars associated with the Catholic artistic tradition. Previous conference presenters have included Sir Roger Scruton, Sir James McMillan, Duncan Stroik, James McCrery, Dr. Elizabeth Lev, Alexander Stoddart, Craig Hamilton, and many more. This is a wonderful opportunity to promote your business to large targeted audience and network with attendees and our speakers, while also being inspired by the conference presentations.
