DEADLINE EXTENDED! Sacred Art Prize 2026 — Call for Entries Now Open Through October 27! In response to requests from several artists for additional time to prepare their submissions, the Catholic Art Institute is pleased to extend the deadline for the 2026 Sacred Art Prize to Tuesday, October 27, 2026! Recognizing excellence in contemporary sacred art, the Sacred Art Prize will feature an international juried online exhibition in November 2026, hosted by the Catholic Art Institute, followed by a live exhibition in 2027 at The Sacred Art Gallery in Mesa, Arizona. The Sacred Art Prize reaches a worldwide audience and has become a valuable resource for architects, liturgical arts firms, clergy, patrons, and collectors seeking exceptional sacred art and artists for commissions and acquisitions. Works by Sacred Art Prize and Bernini Awards winners have attracted the attention of collectors and patrons, leading to sales and new professional opportunities. The competition offers artists an opportunity to gain international recognition, exhibit and sell their work, and connect with those actively supporting the renewal of sacred art. We extend our sincere gratitude to Canning Liturgical Arts and Willet Studios, whose generous sponsorship helps make the Sacred Art Prize possible and supports our shared mission of renewing sacred art and beauty in the life of the Church. NEW DEADLINE: OCTOBER 27, 2026 We invite artists from around the world to submit their finest work and participate in this growing movement to renew sacred art and culture through beauty.
